
FIT2FITE Fighting Moves To Funky Grooves is the first fitness concept to provide a Grading system for a FIT2FITER to progress their training in line with the Fundamentals of Fitness: Stamina, Strength, Speed and Suppleness. This skill set will be evaluated objectively by a panel of judges
By training for FIT2FITE gradings FIT2FITERS are provided with attainable goals that measure objectively the key testing criteria: Technique, Timing, Tension and Intensity plus Adaptability at higher levels. The grading system consolidates the mental and physical benefits of Martial Arts training without the rigour of formal Martial Art practice. This goal orientated initiative stimulates you to not just get fitter but to improve your technique and application of the Fighting Moves.
Levels: Four Progressive levels are to be utilised to assess individuals: Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum.
All those successful at grading will receive a certificate and a wristband for their level.
Membership: To be eligible to grade the FIT2FITER must become a member of FIT2FITE via your designated FIT2FITE class.
Direct Debit: A monthly Direct Debit or Monthly Payment in advance must be set up for your respective F2F class (see designated class Instructor and/or Guidance document).
Attendance: Any FIT2FITER interested in grading for Bronze Level must have 75% attendance over 12 months at their designated FIT2FITE class(s) to be eligible. The FIT2FITE class should be available a minimum of once a week. For Gold and Platinum Levels you must attend twice a week. Attendance at different FIT2FITE classes will be registered and consolidated to attain the 75% criteria.
Grading: The Grading will be One hour and should be conducted with the FIT2FITE Instructor and FIT2FITE Regional or National Coordinator. Karate students and FIT2FITERS can grade together. The F2F Instructor must be at the level or higher of the FIT2FITER's they are grading.
The FIT2FITE Regional Coordinator and designated FIT2FITE Instructor will assess those Grading for Bronze and Silver level. A FIT2FITE Regional or National Coordinator will sit on the Grading panel for the Gold and Platinum, gradings.
Example Cost for Grading: Bronze - £30.00, Silver – £40.00, Gold - £60.00, Platinum – Awarded.
Once the student passes, they will receive a FIT2FITE Coloured Wristband denoting their level, a Certificate and registration on the FIT2FITE National Database (FND). They are then expected to wear their wristband to FIT2FITE classes to identify that they are a graded FIT2FITER.

Bronze: Standard Level - Minimum of 12 months attendance.
Bronze level adheres to the Four Step Format. Good execution of Technique, Timing, Tension and Strategic Intensity is expected alongside the requisite level of Strength, Stamina, and Suppleness.
Silver: Intermediate Level – Minimum of 24 months attendance.
The Four Step Format introduces speed at Silver Level. Improved execution of Technique, Timing, Tension and Strategic Intensity is expected alongside more challenging Techniques, combinations and movements. Adaptability will also be introduced where individuals will be subjected to a few techniques and/or combinations they may have not done before in a FIT2FITE class.
Gold: Advanced Level I - Minimum of 36 months attendance.
Gold Level maintains the Four Step format but expects improved demonstration of Speed, Technique, Timing, Tension and Strategic Intensity for the more demanding Techniques, combinations and moves taught at this level. Adaptability will be tested more stringently across more aspects of the Four Step Format.
Platinum Advanced Level II – Minimum of 48 months attendance.
This Level maintains the Four Step Format but expects an unfailing demonstration of clinical Technique, exquisite Timing, visible Tension and Strategic Intensity for the more demanding Techniques, combinations and moves taught at this level. Adaptability will be tested consistently across all aspects of the Four Step Format. FIT2FITERS will be expected to reflect the attributes of FIT2FITE and in essence be almost indistinguishable from a karate practitioner.
